Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is a therapeutic massage aimed at relieving tight and tense muscles. It is a medium to firm massage, which assists in the breakdown of muscular knots. Pain often happens when there is blockage of chi, blood flow, and energy. Increasing the blood flow and circulation enables the body to readjust to a happy balanced state; for the mind, body and soul. Melt away those stresses and feel your body be free again!
Clothing: underwear - oil used on the body - essential oils available.
TIP: After a massage drink plenty of water to flush out toxins.
Have a bath the same day, with Epsom salts (draws toxins).
Take it easy. Try to have a peaceful day/night afterwards.
Prevention is better than cure. Have regular massages to prevent your body from being over stressed.

Cupping

Cupping is a Chinese modality. (Recently made famous by Gwyneth Paltrow, at the Oscars). It involves glass dome shaped cups that are placed on the skin with the air systematically suctioned out. This is a fantastic treatment for very tight and aching muscles. It brings maximum blood flow through the area treated, on a superficial and deep level. Suction control can vary from light to strong.
Clothing: underwear
TIP: Cupping leaves a circular mark on the skin, which can take approximately 3-7 days to vanish. As blood is being drawn closer to the surface of the skin. If you have a function to attend and your skin maybe exposed, you will need to take this factor into consideration before deciding on this treatment.

Deep Tissue Massage

This is an extra strong massage. You can expect elbows. Not for the faint hearted!

Polarity Therapy

This treatment works on the balancing of the electromagnetic fields of the body. It's aim is to bring the balance of the opposite poles within different energy fields of the body. Designed by Dr Randolph Stone, he has used his knowledge of Chiropractic, Oesteopathy, Ayurveda, Chakras and Eneregy to devise this very relaxaing and healing modality. It is a very calming and nuturing modality.
Clothing: Yes or robe.
TIP: You may feel light headed after this treatment, good to have relax time afterwards.

Holistic Facial & Foot Massage

Enjoy a beautiful experience. All Spa treatments include the divine Uskincare Product range. The facial comprises of cleanse, scrub (bamboo polish), rehydration oils, mud mask, and delicious moisturizing and facial massage. The feet get pampered too!
Scrubbed with wild thyme foot pumice, then gently washed and massaged with peppermint cream.
